Notice is hereby given that The Kent County Council acting as the Local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers under sections 81, 82, 83 and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (hereinafter referred to as the Act of 1984) as amended, and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act of 1984, proposes to make the following Order, the effect of which would be to:- Implement a 50 mile per hour speed limit from a point 14 metres northeast of its junction with Upper Road to point 114 metres southwest of its junction with Duke of York roundabout junction.

Notice is hereby given that The Kent County Council acting as the Local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers under sections 81, 82, 83 and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (hereinafter referred to as the Act of 1984) as amended, and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act of 1984, proposes to make the following Order, the effect of which would be to:- 1. Implement a 40 mile per hour speed limit on A229 Angley Road, Cranbrook from its south-western junction with High Street to a point 200 metres southwest of its junction with Goudhurst Road and 2. Whitewell Lane, Cranbrook from its junction with Angley Road in a north westerly direction for a distance of 15 metres.

The Kent County Council (St Dunstan’s Street, The District of Canterbury) (6’ 6” Width Restriction) Order 2015
NOTICE is hereby given that The Kent County Council has made the above named Order. The general effect of this order is to implement a 6 feet 6 inch width limit which prevents any vehicle with a width exceeding 6’ 6’’ to proceed in those lengths of road specified in the Schedule of the Order. Exemptions are provided in the Order for; emergency services, authorities in pursuance of statutory powers, local buses, taxis and rail replacement services. Full details of the exemptions are provided in the articles of the Order. Roads effected by the Order are:- St Dunstans Street, Canterbury: Between (but not including) its junctions with North Lane and Pound Lane on the north-eastern side of the carriageway only, through the Westgate Towers.
