The Kent County Council (Borough of Maidstone) Waiting Restrictions Consolidation Variation No 22 Order 2014
The effect of the proposed named Order will introduce new or to amend existing waiting restrictions in the following lengths of road (in this part of the notice SYL means single yellow lines) waiting to be prohibited Monday to Saturday 8:00am - 6.30pm) and No waiting at any time (in this part of the notice DYL means double yellow lines) CHERRY ORCHARD WAY; DYL, both sides, from its junction with Tonbridge Road in a northerly direction for a distance of 20metres TONBRIDGE ROAD; DYL, north side, from a point 20metres west from its junction with Cherry Orchard Way to a point 20metres east of that junction. TONBRIDGE ROAD; SYL, north side, from its junction with Queens Road to a point 20metres west of its junction with Cherry Orchard Way. The Kent County Council (Borough of Maidstone) Waiting Restrictions Consolidation Variation No 19 Order 2014
Kent County Council intends to make the Order to introduce double yellow lines and single yellow line restrictions on the following roads or length of roads: 1. Arundel Square 2. Cornhill Place 3. Courtenay Road 4. Eccleston Road 5. Stafford Gardens The request for waiting restrictions is a result of access issues for residents and emergency service vehicles and to maintain access for goods vehicles, service vehicles. By restricting the parking on the those sections of the road it will provide better access into the road and hopefully. Please see document attached for more information.

Manston Court Road, Manston -Traffic Calming
Manston Court Road is commonly used as an alternative route by drivers avoiding busier sections of the local road network. Although part of Manston Court Road is restricted to 30MPH. Manston Parish Council and residents are concerned that the speeds are normally in excess of the speed limit. The scheme involves: (1) The installation of full-width road humps at regular intervals within the 30MPH limit. (2) Construction of entry feature, narrowing the carriageway to reduce drivers approach speeds (3) Upgrading of street lighting by removing existing concrete columns and installing steel columns with LED low energy lighting units. The Kent County Council (The District of Shepway) (Restrictions and Prohibitions of Waiting, Loading And Unloading) (Stuart Road, Folkestone) Order 2014
Notice is hereby given that KENT COUNTY COUNCIL proposes to make the above named Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1) and (2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Paragraph 20 of Schedule 9 to the Act: The effect of the Order will be to prohibit waiting at any time (double yellow lines) at the following location:- Stuart Road, Folkestone - On the north side of the road, from a point 0.5m west of the eastern end of Stuart Road to a point 0.5m west of the eastern end of Stuart Road on the south side of the road. Notice is hereby given that KENT COUNTY COUNCIL proposes to make the above named Order under Sections 1, 2, 4 and 124 of and part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as the Act) and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 of the said Act: The effect of the Order will be to implement a mandatory cycle lane at the following location: A20 Ashford Road - On both sides of the road, between the A20 Stanford Intersection and a point 280m east of the A20 Stanford Intersection. Notice is hereby given that the Kent County Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 81, 82, 83 and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which would be to: Reduce from 50mph to 40mph: Canterbury Road West (1) From the Cliffsend roundabout to a point 105 metres west of the western boundary of number 54. (2) From a point 73 metres east of the eastern boundary of number 2 to a point 140 metres west of the northern Lord of the Manor roundabout. Reduce from 40mph to 30mph: Sandwich Road - From a point 200 metres west of the western boundary of number 131 to a point 75 metres east of its junction with Cliffs End Road. Reduce from Derestricted to 40mph: Sandwich Road - From a point 200 metres west of the western boundary of number 131 for a distance of 300 metres in a westerly direction. NOTICE is hereby given that the Kent County Council makes an Order under Sections 81, 82, 83 and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to: Reduce the speed limit from 30mph to 20mph on the following roads in Margate: King Street (between Trinity Hill and The Parade) Broad Street (entire length) Love Lane (entire length). NOTICE is hereby given that the Kent County Council makes an Order under Sections 81, 82, 83 and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which is to :- Reduce the speed limit on the following roads from Derestricted to 30mph: Nash Road - from the junction with Wherry Close to a point in line with the north western boundary wall of Nash Farm. The Kent County Council (The District of Shepway, Various Roads) (Restrictions and Prohibitions of Waiting, Loading and Unloading) Consolidation (Amendment No 16) Order 2014
Kent Highway Services has made the above named Traffic Regulation Order in the interest of facilitating the passage of vehicular traffic on the road and improving road safety. The effect of this Order introduces a prohibition of waiting at any time (double yellow lines) on the following lengths: A259 Dymchurch Road - On the northwest side of the road, either side of the entrance to Pennypot Industrial Estate Entrance Road, for a distance of 10m. Pennypot Industrial Estate Entrance Road - On both sides of the road from the junction with A259 Dymchurch Road for a distance of 10m in a north-westerly direction. Firs Lane, Cheriton - On the west side of the road for a distance of 10m either side of the junction with Star Lane. Star Lane, Cheriton - On both sides of the road for a distance of 10m in a westerly direction from the junction with Firs Lane. Please see document attached for more information.

The Kent County Council (Various Roads, Dover District) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation (Amendment No 22) Order 2014.
Notice is hereby given that KENT COUNTY COUNCIL has made the above named Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1) and (2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Paragraph 20 of Schedule 9 to the Act: The effect of the Order implements yellow 'School Keep Clear' zig-zag lines and waiting restrictions (yellow lines) on various roads in Dover District. Full details are contained in the Order attached which, together with the relevant plans, any Orders amended by this Order and a statement of reasons for making the Order may be examined on Mondays to Fridays at Kent County Council, Javelin Way Ashford, Kent, TN24 8AD and at Kent County Council, County Hall, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 1XQ during normal office hours.
