The Kent County Council (Istead Rise, Borough of Gravesham) (Restrictions and Prohibitions of Waiting, Loading and Unloading) Order 2014
Notice is hereby given that Kent County Council proposes to make the above named Order. The effect of the Order will be (1) To prohibit waiting at any time at the following locations:- (a) Chequers Close, Istead Rise. (b) Downs Road, Istead Rise. (c) Rosegarth, Istead Rise. (2) To prohibit waiting 8-9am and 3-4pm Monday to Friday at the following location:- (a) Downs Road, Istead Rise. (3) to prohibit loading 8-9am and 3-4pm Monday to Friday at the following location:- (a) Downs Road, Istead Rise.

The Kent County Council (Victoria Parade, Broadstairs) (Prohibition of Motor Vehicles) Order 2014
The scheme aims to upgrade the existing footway and carriageway surfacing in Victoria Parade to ensure that its entire length is served by slabs and herring bone laid block paving. The existing footway at the junction of Victoria Parade and John Street will be widened and the road will be signed and enforced as a pedestrian zone, prohibiting its use by motor vehicles between the hours of 10am and 4pm. The proposal was advertised in February / March this year and approved at the Thanet Joint Transportation Board. The order will come into force on Monday 22nd September 2014, and the scheme will be constructed later in the same year. Once the new signs are in place the order will become legally enforceable.

B 245 London Road Tonbridge - New Pedestrian Crossing
We will be carrying out the majority of work As part of a road safety scheme we will be installing a new "Puffin" type signal controlled pedestrian crossing to improve pedestrian links to Tonbridge School and the Sports Centre. We will be carrying out the majority of work during off peak hours between the hours of 09.30 and 15.30 Monday to Friday utilising two way temporary traffic signal control to minimise congestion in the area. We will also need to close London Road between its junctions with Dry Hill Park Road and Shipbourne Road from 21.00 on Saturday 18th October to 12.00 on Sunday 19th October 2014 to allow us to carry out resurfacing works to the carriageway. During these times traffic will be diverted via Dry Hill Park Road and Shipbourne Road.

The Kent County Council (The District of Shepway, Various Roads) (Restrictions and Prohibitions of Waiting, Loading and Unloading) Consolidation (Amendment No.19) Order 2014
Notice is hereby given that Kent County Council propose to make the above named Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1) and (2), 32(1), 35(1), 45, 46, 49 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Paragraph 20 of Schedule 9 to the Act: The effect of the Order will be to prohibit waiting at any time (double yellow lines) in Church Lane and Church Road, New Romney.

Hospital Road, Sevenoaks - Cycle Facility Improvements
Constructing a buildout at the Hillingdon Avenue/Hospital Road junction to create a segregated contraflow cycle lane. Installing cycle lane signing and road markings up to the Sevenoaks Hospital entrance to create a contra-flow cycle lane to a point where two-way traffic exists.

Crampton's Road, Sevenoaks - Cycle Facility Improvements
What does the proposed scheme involve? The scheme (as shown on drawing number KCC/S106/BBCW/003) involves:- Widening the existing footpath adjacent to Otford Road and construction of a new path in the verge at Crampton's Road. The redundant footpath would be excavated and topsoil and turf laid. Installation of associated signing and road markings.

Bradbourne Vale Road, Sevenoaks - Cycle Facility Improvements
The scheme (as shown on drawing number KCC/S106/BBCW/001) involves:- Widening the footway, by removing the grass verge on the south side of Bradbourne Vale Road, between Otford Road and St John's Road, to create a shared footway/cycleway. Relocation of existing lighting columns and signs and installation of new signs indicating the status of the path as shared use cycle/foot path.

Caxton Road, Garlinge - Start of Works Notice
Kent County Council wants to make Caxton Road one-way between its junctions with Fulham Avenue and Westfield Road. Traffic will be permitted to travel in a north-easterly direction (from Fulham Avenue towards Westfield Road. The bellmouth area of the Caxton Road junction with Westfield Road will be reduced to single lane width to discourage vehicles from turning into it from Westfield Road.

St Dunstan's Street, Canterbury - Pedestrian Improvements and Speed Lmit Reduction
We are making permanent the experimental pavement widening in St Dunstan's Street between North Lane and Kirby's Lane. The temporary fibreglass planters will be removed and a new kerb and footway surface will be laid. We will also be installing new guardrailing in North Lane from the St Dunstan's Street junction/ Westgate Towers to the pelican crossing and carrying out a few other minor improvements and repairs. A 20mph speed limit will also be installed in this section of St Dunstan's Street, Kirby's Lane, Linden Grove and streets accessed from it. A 6'6" width restriction will be introduced through the Towers arch. A second phase of work is planned for early in the new year which includes a new pedestrian crossing in Station Road West.

THE KENT COUNTY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, THE DISTRICT OF CANTERBURY) (7.5 TONNE WEIGHT RESTRICTION) ORDER 2014
Kent County Council as the local traffic authority proposes to make an order to prevent vehicles with a weight exceeding 7.5 Tonne from proceeding in the roads described in the schedule to the above named order. The reasons for introducing the restriction is to reduce the amount of unnecessary through traffic by large vehicles and to prevent danger to persons and prevent damage to the roads and buildings and preserving the amenities of the area.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Kent County Council has made the above named Order under Sections 81, 82, 83 and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which would be to :- Implement a 20 mph speed limit in High Street, Chapel Street and Wateringbury Road from its junction with Gilletts Lane to a point 93 metres southwest of that junction. The Rocks Road from its junction with Chapel Street to a point 177 metres east of Gilletts Lane, Gilletts Lane and Rocks Close. Wateringbury Road from a point 93 metres southwest of its junction with Gilletts Lane to a point 87 metres north of its junction with Barming Road.
