The consultation on the proposal to expand Westcourt Primary School ended on 29 February 2016 and the outcome of the consultation reported to Education and Young People’s Cabinet Committee on 17 March 2016. Mr Roger Gough, Cabinet Member for Education and Health Reform, having considered the recommendation from Cabinet Committee and the responses to the consultation, agreed that a public notice should be issued. The public notice dated 18 April 2016, can be found below, together with the complete proposal, signed Record of Decision and report. The closing date for sending in objections and comments is 16 May 2016 and written representations should be sent to Ian Watts, Area Education Officer, Worrall House, Kings Hill, Kent, ME19 4AE. Kent County Council would like to hear your views on a proposal to permanently expand Westcourt Primary School in Gravesham from a one form entry primary school (intake of 30 children into the Reception Year) to a two form entry primary school (intake of 60 children into the Reception Year) from September 2016.
The public consultation will run from 25 January to 29 February 2016.

There will be a public drop in session at the school on Monday 1 February 2016 between 3:30pm and 5:30 pm which will give you the opportunity to make your views known and to ask any questions you may have.
The consultation document gives you details of the proposal, information on the background to it, and outlines the current position. There is a form at the end which we ask you to complete and return to us by midday on 29 February 2016.
