(VARIOUS ROADS, GRAVESHAM) (STOPPING, WAITING, AND LOADING PROHIBITIONS AND RESTRICTIONS, PARKING PLACES AND CONTROLLED PARKING ZONES)

(AMENDMENT No.1) ORDER 2018

NOTICE is hereby given that the Kent County Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 32, 35, 36, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53, 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the Traffic Management Act 2004, the Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (England) General Regulations 2007 and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act of 1984.

The effect of the Order is to introduce double yellow lines following requests from residents and agencies. These apply as follows:-

CROCKENHALL WAY - On both sides from the junction with Biddenden Way for a distance of 10 metres in a north easterly direction.

BIDDENDEN WAY - On both sides from a point 10 metres north west and 10 metres south east of its junction with Crockenhall Way.

ISTEAD RISE - On both sides from a point 10 metres east and 10 metres west of its junction with Brookside Rise.

BROOKSIDE ROAD – (1) On the east side from its junction with Istead Rise for a distance of 13 metres in a northerly direction. (2) On the west side from its junction with Istead Rise for a distance of 10 metres in a northerly direction.

ELLERSLIE – (1) On the eastern side from its junction with Milton Road for a distance of 24 metres in a south westerly direction. (2) On the western side from its junction with Milton Road for a distance of 26 metres in a south easterly direction. (3) On both sides from a point 10 metres north east and 5 metres south west of its junction with Cooper Beech Close.

MILTON ROAD - On both sides from a point 60 metres east and 17 metres west of its junction with Ellerslie.

 SYCAMORE CLOSE - On both sides from the junction with Cooper Beech close for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction.

COOPER BEECH CLOSE – (1) On both sides from the junction with Ellerslie for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction. (2) On both sides from a point 10 metres east and 10 metres west of its junction with Sycamore Close.

 A statement of the Council’s reasons for making the proposed Order, a map indicating the location and the effect and a copy of any other Orders which will be amended by the proposed Order may be examined on Mondays to Friday at The Kent County Council, Sessions House, Maidstone, ME14 1XQ, and at The Kent County Council, Kent Highway & Transportation, Ashford Highway Depot, Henwood Industrial Estate, Unit 4 Javelin Way, Ashford, Kent TN24 8AD during normal office hours or downloaded from the consultation document section below.
