CONSOLIDATION AMENDMENT No. 37 ORDER 2018

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

 Notice is hereby given that KENT COUNTY COUNCIL intends to make the above Order under sections 1(1), 2 (1) to (3), 3 (2), 4 (1) and (2), 32 (1), 35 (1), 44, 45, 46, 49 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter called “the Act”) and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the chief officer of police in accordance with Paragraph 20 of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby propose to make the following order:-

The effect of the proposed named Order will introduce or amend existing waiting restrictions in the following lengths of road (in this part of the notice DYL’s means double yellow lines) waiting to be prohibited at any time

 Roads in Dartford - DOUBLE YELLOW LINES

 CASTLERIDGE DRIVE – DYL – (1) On the southern side of the roundabout from a point 60 metres of the junction with the B255 for a distance of 42 metres in a north westerly direction. (2) On the northern side of the roundabout from a point 56 metres of the junction with B255 for a distance of 41 metres in a north westerly direction. (3) On both sides from a point 11 metres north and 5.5 metres south of the junction with Falstaff Mews. (4) On the western side from the southern kerbline of Castleridge Drive for a distance of 7 metres in a south easterly direction. (5) On the western side from the northern kerbline of Castleridge Drive for a distance of 7.5 metres in a north easterly direction. (6) On the western side from a point in line with the southern building line of 73 Castleridge Drive for a distance of 7 metres in a southerly direction. (7) On the western side from the southern boundary of 30/32 Castleridge Drive for a distance of 7 metres in a north westerly direction. (8) On the western side from a point 8 metres north and 8 metres south of the junction with Pearman Close. (9) On the eastern side from a point 8 meters north and 8 metres south of the junction with Elstar Mews. (10) On the western side from a point in line with the boundary of 91/93 Castleridge Drive for a distance of 8 metres in a northerly direction. (11) On the western side from a point 8 metres from the junction with Pearman Close for a distance of 27.5 metres in a northerly direction. (12) On the eastern side from a point 8 metres from the junction with Elstar Mews for a distance of 21 metres in a northerly direction. (13) On the northern side from a point opposite the eastern boundary of 66 Castleridge Drive for a distance of 9.5 metres in an easterly direction. (14) On the eastern side from the western junction with Russet Walk for a distance of 15.5 metres in a south easterly direction. (15) On the western side from the western junction with Russet Walk for a distance of 23 metres in a south westerly direction. PEARMAN CLOSE – DYL – (1) On both sides from the junction with Castleridge Drive for a distance of 8 metres in a westerly direction. ELSTAR MEWS – DYL – (1) On both sides from the junction with Castleridge Drive for a distance of 8 metres in an easterly direction. FALSTAFF MEWS – DYL – (1) On both sides from the junction with Castleridge Drive for a distance of 5 metres in an easterly direction.

SINGLE YELLOW LINES Between 11am and 12 noon every day

CASTLERIDGE DRIVE – SYL – (1) On the northern side from a point in line with the eastern building line of 2 to 12 Castleridge Drive for a distance of 108 metres in a north westerly direction. (2) On the eastern side from the northern kerbline of Falstaff Mews for a distance of 72 metres in a northerly direction. (3) On the western side from the southern building line of 73 Castleridge Drive for a distance of 43 metres in a north westerly direction. (4) On the southern side from a point in line with the south eastern boundary of 1 to 23 Castleridge Drive for a distance of 25 metres in a north westerly direction. (5) On the western side from a point opposite the southern property line of 14 Castleridge Drive for a distance of 107 metres in a northerly direction. (6) On both sides from a point in line with the boundary of 71/73 Castleridge Drive for a distance of 3.5 metres in an easterly direction. (7) On the western side from the northern boundary of 91 Castleridge Drive for a distance of 102 metres in a southerly direction. (8) On the western side from a point 8 metres from boundary of 91/93 Castleridge Drive for a distance of 13 metres in a north westerly direction. (9) On the southern side from the eastern boundary of 66 Castleridge Drive for a distance of 154 metres in a south westerly direction. (10) On the northern side from the eastern arm junction with Russet Walk for a distance of 29 metres in a south westerly direction. (11) On the east side from the eastern arm junction with Russet Walk for a distance of 8 metres in a southerly direction. PEARMAN CLOSE – SYL – (1) On both sides from a point 8 metres from the junction with Castleridge Drive for a distance of 5 metres in a westerly direction. ELSTAR MEWS – SYL – (1) On both sides from a point 8 metres from the junction with Castleridge Drive for a distance of 5 metres in an easterly direction. RUSSET WALK – SYL – (1) On the western side from the eastern arm junction with Castleridge Drive for a distance of 31 metres in a northerly direction. (2) On the eastern side from the eastern arm junction with Castleridge Drive for a distance of 28 metres in a northerly direction.

VISITORS PARKING Between 8am to 6pm every day

CASTLERIDGE DRIVE (1) On the western side from a point opposite the boundary of 14/16 Castleridge Drive for a distance of 65 metres in a northerly direction. (2) On the western side from a point opposite the northern boundary of 26 Castleridge Drive for a distance of 24.5 metres in a northerly direction. (3) On the western side from a point 6.5 metres from the southern boundary of 75 Castleridge Drive for a distance of 68 metres in a northerly direction. (4) On the eastern side from the southern boundary of 44 Castleridge Drive for a distance of 74.5 metres in a northerly direction. (5) On the northern side in the parking bays outside 95-105 Castleridge Drive for a distance of 11 metres. (6) On the southern kerbside in the parking bays along the north side of 62 Castleridge Drive for a distance of 19 metres.

A statement of the Council’s reasons for making the proposed Order, a map indicating the location and the effect and a copy of any other Orders which will be amended by the proposed Order may be examined on Mondays to Friday at The Kent County Council, Sessions House, Maidstone, ME14 1XQ, and at The Kent County Council, Kent Highway & Transportation, Ashford Highway Depot, Henwood Industrial Estate, Unit 4 Javelin Way, Ashford, Kent TN24 8AD during normal office hours or viewed online at www.kent.gov.uk/highwaysconsultations.
