UNLOADING) AMENDMENT No.5 ORDER 2018

Notice is hereby given that THE KENT COUNTY COUNCIL, acting as the local traffic authority and in exercise of their powers and under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1) and (2), 32(1), 35(1), 44, 46, 49 and 53 of the Road TrafficRegulation Act 1984 has made the following Order:

The effect of the named Order introduces or amends waiting restrictions in thefollowing lengths of road:

‘At Any Time’ Waiting Restrictions (double yellow lines)

Dymchurch Road, Hythe

On the southern side from the junction with St Nicholas Road for a distance of 10 metres in an easterly direction.

Fisher Close, Hythe

On both sides from the junction with Twiss Road for a distance of 10 metres.

Twiss Road, Hythe

On the western side of the road between points 15 metres north and 15 metres south of its junction with Fisher Close.

Craythorne Lane, New Romney

On the south-western side from its junction with Rolfe Lane for a distance of 10 metres in a south-easterly direction.

On the north-eastern side from its junction with Rolfe Lane for a distance of 14.3 metres in a south-easterly direction.

Rolfe Lane, New Romney

On the north-western side from a point 7.1 metres south west of the boundary of 61/63 Rolfe Lane for a distance of 85.4 metres in a north-easterly direction.

On the south-eastern side from a point opposite 8.1 metres southwest of the boundary of 61/63 Rolfe Lane for a distance of 72.7 metres in a north-easterly direction.

Fairfield Road, New Romney

On the north-western side from a point 7.5 metres south-west of the south-western boundary wall of Owen House for a distance of 30.7 metres in a south-westerly direction.

On the south-eastern side from a point 7.3 metres south-west of the south-western boundary of Sycamore House for a distance of 30.7 metres in a south-westerly direction.

A copy of the Order, the relevant map and statement of reasons can be inspected during normal office hours at County Hall, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 1XQ or at the offices of the Ashford Highway Depot, 4 Javelin Way, Ashford, TN24 8AD or downloaded from the consultation document section below.

ANY PERSON WISHING TO QUESTION THE VALIDITY OF THE ORDER OR ANY OF THE PROVISIONS CONTAINED THEREIN ON THE GROUNDS THAT IT IS NOT WITHIN THE POWERS OF THE RELEVENT ENABLING ACT OR THAT ANY REQUIREMENT OF ANY SUCH ENABLING ACT OR OF ANY REGULATIONS MADE THEREUNDER HAVE NOT BEEN COMPLIED WITH MAY WITHIN 6 WEEKS FROM THE DATE ON WHICH THE ORDER WAS MADE MAKE APPLICATION TO THE HIGH COURT FOR THIS PURPOSE.
