(WAITING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2016

NOTICE is hereby given that THE KENT COUNTY COUNCIL hereby makes the above named Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act of 1984:

The effect of the Order is to introduce regulations following ad hoc requests from residents and agencies. These apply as follows:-

ELLERSLIE, DENTON

“East Side”

From its junction with Milton Road to a point terminating 10m south of this location.

From its junction with Cooper Beech Close to a terminating point 10m North East from this location.

“West Side”

From its junction with Milton Road to a point terminating 10m south of this location.

From its junction with Cooper Beech Close to a terminating point 10m south east from this location.

From its intersecting kerbline with Cooper Beech Close to a terminating point 5m south west from this location.

MILTON ROAD, DENTON

“South Side”

From its junction with Ellerslie to a point terminating 10m east.

From its junction with with Ellerslie to a point terminating 10m west.

SYCAMORE CLOSE, DENTON

“East Side”

From its junction with Cooper Beech Close to a point terminating 10m south of this location.

“West Side”

From its junction with Cooper Beech Close to a point terminating 10m south of this location.

COOPER BEECH CLOSE, DENTON

“South Side”

From its junction with Ellerslie to a point terminating 10m west of this location.

From its junction with Sycamore Close to a point terminating 10m east of this location.

From its junction with Sycamore Close to a point terminating 10m west of this location.

“North Side”

From its junction with Ellerslie to a point terminating 10m west of this location.

A copy of the Order, statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order, a map indicating the location and the effect and a copy of any other Orders which will be amended by the Order may be examined on Mondays to Friday at The Kent County Council, Sessions House, Maidstone, ME14 1XQ and at The Kent County Council, Highway, Transportation & Waste, Ashford Highway Depot, Henwood Industrial Estate, Unit 4 Javelin Way, Ashford, Kent TN24 8AD during normal office hours or downloaded from the consultation document section below.

Anyone may, by application to the High Court within 6 weeks of the date of publication of this Notice, challenge the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or any instrument made thereunder, or that there has been a failure to comply with any statutory requirement in relation to the Orders.
