CONSOLIDATION AMENDMENT No.8 ORDER 2018

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that The Kent in exercise of their powers under Sections 1(1) and 2(1) to (3) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, ("The Act") and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Paragraph 20 of Schedule 9 to the Act, has made the following Order: -

1. The above-named Order will implement a ‘One Way Traffic’ Order (including Pedal Cycles) in the direction as stated below in the following road or lengths of road in Dartford;

FULWICH ROAD; from its junction with Great Queens Street in a south-westerly direction to its junction with Merryweather Close.

2. The above-named Order is to ‘Prohibit Right Turns’ (including Pedal Cycles) in the following road or lengths of road in Dartford;

FULWICH ROAD; (No right turn), from the egress of Jackson Mews into Fulwich Road.

A copy of the Order, statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order, a map indicating the location and the effect and a copy of any other Orders which will be amended by the Order may be examined on Mondays to Friday at The Kent County Council, Sessions House, Maidstone, ME14 1XQ and at The Kent County Council, Highway, Transportation & Waste, Ashford Highway Depot, Henwood Industrial Estate, Unit 4 Javelin Way, Ashford, Kent TN24 8AD and at Dartford Borough Council Offices, Civic Centre, Home Gardens, Dartford, Kent DA1 1DR during normal office hours or viewed online at www.kent.gov.uk/highwaysconsultations

Anyone may, by application to the High Court within 6 weeks of the date of publication of this Notice, challenge the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or any instrument made thereunder, or that there has been a failure to comply with any statutory requirement in relation to the Orders.

1. The above-named Order proposes to implement a ‘One Way Traffic’ (including Pedal Cycles) Order in the following road or lengths of road in Dartford;

FULWICH ROAD; from its junction with Great Queens Street in a south-westerly direction to its junction with Merryweather Close.

2. The above-named Order proposes to implement ‘Banned right turn’ (including Pedal Cycles) Order in the following road or lengths of road in Dartford;

FULWICH ROAD; (No right turn), from the egress of Jackson Mews into Fulwich Road.

A copy of the proposed Order, statement of the Council’s reasons for making the proposed Order, a map indicating the location and the effect and a copy of any other Orders which will be amended by the proposed Order may be examined on Mondays to Friday at The Kent County Council, Sessions House, Maidstone, ME14 1XQ and at The Kent County Council, Highway, Transportation & Waste, Ashford Highway Depot, Henwood Industrial Estate, Unit 4 Javelin Way, Ashford, Kent TN24 8AD and at Dartford Borough Council Offices, Civic Centre, Home Gardens, Dartford, Kent DA1 1DR during normal office hours or downloaded from the consultation document section below.
