CONSOLIDATION AMENDMENT No.38 ORDER 2018

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

NOTICE is hereby given that the Kent County Council acting as the local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers intends to make the above-named Order under Sections 1, 2, 4 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which would be to: -

The general effect of this Order is to offer exemptions for the Business Properties 701 to 709 Princes Road in allowing the exhibition of motor vehicles. Other exemptions are provided in the Order for; access to commercial properties, the loading and unloading, emergency services and authorities in pursuance of statutory powers and vehicles engaged in such building operations as maintenance, improvement or demolition. Full details are provided in the Articles of the Order.

Princes Road, Dartford; north side, from a point 72 metres west of its junction with Watling Street and from a point 4.5 metres north of the carriageway kerbline, northwards, to the highway boundary for a distance of 42.5 metres, westwards.

A statement of the Council’s reasons for making the proposed Order, a map indicating the location and the effect and a copy of any other Orders which will be amended by the proposed Order may be examined on Mondays to Friday at The Kent County Council, Sessions House, Maidstone, ME14 1XQ, at The Kent County Council, Kent Highway & Transportation, Ashford Highway Depot, Henwood Industrial Estate, Unit 4 Javelin Way, Ashford, Kent TN24 8AD and at Dartford Borough Council Offices, Civic Centre, Home Gardens, Dartford, Kent DA1 1DR during normal office hours or downloaded from the Consultation Documents section below.
