(PROHIBITION OF WAITING) No.01 ORDER 2019

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

 THE KENT COUNTY COUNCIL, (herein referred to as “the Council”) acting as the local traffic authority and in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 4 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as the “Act of 1984”) and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the said Act, intends to make the following Order:-

To introduce or amend the double yellow lines (DYL’s) (No waiting at any time) restrictions in the following roads

Highfield Road, Southborough, On the northern side to extend the existing double yellow lines by 11.5 metres in a westerly direction

Park House Gardens, Southborough, (1) On both sides from its junction with Park Road for a distance of 10 metres. (2) On the eastern side from a point in line with the southern kerbline of Park Road for a distance of 10 metres in a southerly direction.

Park Road, Southborough, On both sides from the junction with Park House Gardens for a distance of 10 metres in a westerly direction.

A copy of the proposed Order, statement of the Council’s reasons for making the proposed Order, a map indicating the location and the effect and a copy of any other Orders which will be amended by the proposed Order may be examined on Mondays to Friday at The Kent County Council, Sessions House, Maidstone, ME14 1XQ and at The Kent County Council, Highway, Transportation & Waste, Ashford Highway Depot, Henwood Industrial Estate, Unit 4 Javelin Way, Ashford, Kent TN24 8AD during normal office hours or viewed online at www.consultations.kent.gov.uk
