AMENDMENT No.36 ORDER 2018

     Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

Notice is hereby given that The KENT COUNTY COUNCIL acting as the Local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers under sections 1, 2, 4 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, (hereinafter called “the Act”), and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby proposes to make the following Order:-

The effect of the proposed named Order will introduce or amend existing waiting restrictions on the following lengths of road (in this part of the notice DYL’s means double yellow lines) waiting to be prohibited at any time

Roads in Borough of Dartford

Schedule No. 5.01: No waiting at any time

Joydens Wood Road, Bexley – (1) From a point 10 metres north east and 10 metres south west of its junction with Maryfield Close. (2) From a point 10 metres north east and 10 metres south west of its junction with Wood Close.

Maryfield Close, Bexley – (1) On both sides of its junction with Joydens Wood Road for a distance of 7 metres in a north westerly direction.

Wood Close, Bexley – (1) On both sides from its junction with Joydens Wood Road for a distance of 10 metres in a south easterly direction.

High Road, Wilmington – (1) From a point 10 metres north east and 10 metres south west of its junction with The Close.

The Close, Wilmington – (1) On the north eastern side from its junction with High Road for a distance of 9.5 metres in a north westerly direction. (2) On the south western side from its junction with High Road for a distance of 9 metres in a north westerly direction.

A statement of the Council’s reasons for making the proposed Order, a map indicating the location and the effect and a copy of any other Orders which will be amended by the proposed Order may be examined on Mondays to Friday at The Kent County Council, Sessions House, Maidstone, ME14 1XQ, at Dartford Borough Council Offices, Civic Centre, Home Gardens, Dartford, Kent DA1 1DR and at The Kent County Council, Highway, Transportation & Waste, Ashford Highway Depot, Henwood Industrial Estate, Unit 4 Javelin Way, Ashford, Kent TN24 8AD during normal office hours or downloaded from the Consultation Documents section below.
