Update - March 2019.

Thank you to everyone who took part in this public consultation. We are currently in the process of reviewing all the representations. These will be summarised and provided to the Secretary of State on submission of the Mineral Sites Plan (the Plan) and the Early Partial Review of the adopted Kent Minerals and Waste Local Plan 2013-30; along with any suggested minor amendments to the Plan and to the policy and explanatory text proposed changes of the adopted Kent Minerals and Waste Local Plan 2013-30 subject to the early partial review process.

An updated timetable for the delivery of the Plan and Early Partial Review of the adopted Kent Minerals and Waste Local Plan 2013-30 is available on our Minerals and Waste Planning Policy page on Kent.gov.

Following the consultation on the proposed Early Partial Review of the Kent Minerals and Waste Local Plan 2013-30 (KMWLP), the County Council has prepared a draft version of the document to be submitted to the Secretary of State for consideration.

In line with Regulation 19 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning)(England) Regulations 2012, the County Council is seeking comments on the draft Early Partial Review. This is the last chance to comment on the draft Plan prior to its submission to the Secretary of State.

The consultation will run from 11 January 2019 - 8 March 2019 at midnight.
