                                        (AMENDMENT 30) ORDER 2019

 

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

 

THE KENT COUNTY COUNCIL acting as the local Traffic Authority and in exercise of its powers under Sections 1, 2, 32, 35, 36, 45, 46, 47, 49, 53 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Act of 1984’), the Traffic Management Act 2004, the Civil Enforcement of Parking Contraventions (England) General Regulations 2007 and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the chief officer of police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the said Act of 1984, has made the above named Order:-

Due to the construction of a new access into the Edenbridge Manor Care Home on the west side of Mont St Aignan Way, Edenbridge, it has become necessary to implement or amend the double yellow lines (DYL’s) (No waiting at any time) restrictions in the Consolidation Order of 2013 Appendix 9 – Edenbridge in the following roads or lengths of roads;

 

  • MONT ST AIGNAN WAY, EDENBRIDGE; 

 

  1. West side, from a point in line with the southern boundary of Edenbridge Manor Care Home, northwards, following the edge of the carriageway, for 25.6 metres.
  2. MONT ST AIGNAN WAY, EDENBRIDGE (access to Edenbridge Manor Care Home);Both sides, from the western kerbline of Mont St Aignan Way, westwards, following the edge of the carriageway to the highway boundaryThe Order was made on 29 April 2019 and its provisions will come into effect on 6 May 2019.A statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order, a map indicating the location and the effect and a copy of any other Orders which will be amended by the Order may be examined on Mondays to Friday at The Kent County Council, Sessions House, Maidstone, ME14 1XQ, at The Kent County Council, Kent Highway & Transportation, Ashford Highway Depot, Henwood Industrial Estate, Unit 4 Javelin Way, Ashford, Kent TN24 8AD and at Sevenoaks District Council, Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks, Kent TN13 1HG during normal office hours or viewed online at www.consultations.kent.gov.uk. Or download from the consultation document section below. Anyone may, by application to the High Court within 6 weeks of the date of publication of this Notice, challenge the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in them on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or any instrument made thereunder, or that there has been a failure to comply with any statutory requirement in relation to the Orders.
