(ONE WAY STREETS) ORDER 2018

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984

 Notice is hereby given that KENT COUNTY COUNCIL intends to make the above Order under sections 1(1) and 2, 2(1) to (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (hereinafter called “the Act”) and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the chief officer of police in accordance with Paragraph 20 of Schedule 9 to the Act, hereby propose to make the following order:-

The effect of the proposed named Order will amend the existing traffic flow in the following lengths of road in Tunbridge Wells:-

 Roads in Tunbridge in the Borough of Tunbridge Wells

 MOUNT PLEASANT AVENUE (Southern spur)

From the junction with Mount Pleasant Road in an easterly then in a northerly direction for a distance of 112 metres.

The following Order is to be revoked in it is entirety The Tunbridge Wells Borough Council (Mount Pleasant Avenue, Tunbridge Wells) (One-Way Traffic) Order 1985

A statement of the Council’s reasons for making the proposed Order, a map indicating the location and the effect and a copy of any other Orders which will be amended by the proposed Order may be examined on Mondays to Friday at The Kent County Council, Sessions House, Maidstone, ME14 1XQ, and at The Kent County Council, Kent Highway & Transportation, Ashford Highway Depot, Henwood Industrial Estate, Unit 4 Javelin Way, Ashford, Kent TN24 8AD during normal office hours or downloaded from the consultation document section below.
