THE KENT COUNTY COUNCIL

(VARIOUS ROADS, THE DISTRICT OF SEVENOAKS)

(20MPH, 30MPH, 40MPH, 50MPH SPEED LIMITS AND DERESTRICTED ROADS)

AMENDMENT NO. 21 ORDER 2018

NOTICE is hereby given that the Kent County Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 81, 82, 83 and 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which would be to :-

Implement a 40mph speed limit in:

  1. Tonbridge Road, Chiddingstone - From a point 155 metres west of its junction with Camp Hill to a point 236 metres northeast of its junction with Moorden Lane
  2. Moorden Lane, Leigh - from its junction with Tonbridge Road southwards to its junction with Station Hill.
  3. Station Hill, Leigh - from its junction with Moorden Lane south-eastwards to its junction with Penshurst Road.
  4. Penshurst Road, Leigh - From its junction with Station Hill north-eastwards for a distance of 70 metres.
  5. Penshurst Road, Penshurst - from its junction with Station Hill south-westwards to its junction with Salmans Lane.

A copy of the proposed Order, an explanatory statement and a map showing the lengths of roads concerned may be inspected during normal office hours at County Hall, Maidstone, Kent, ME14 1XQ or at the offices of the Kent County Council, Ashford Highways Depot, Javelin Way, Ashford, Kent TN24 8AD or downloaded from the consultation documents section below.

Any persons wishing to support the proposal, or to object to it should write to Geoffrey Bineham, Ashford Highways Depot, Javelin Way, Henwood Industrial Estate, Ashford, TN24 8AD or email TrafRegOrders01@kent.gov.uk quoting the name of the Order and stating their reasons, by no later than 28th September 2018.
