IntroductionPicture with border

The proposed Herne Relief Road is formed of two sections; the Bullockstone Road improvements and a spine road through the proposed Lower Herne Village. The Relief Road is vital to support the construction of 2,600 houses in and around Herne Bay. The road aims to reduce congestion through the already constrained village of Herne.

Kent County Council’s (KCC) Major Capital Programme Team is delivering the Bullockstone Road Improvement Scheme on behalf of three development sites; Herne Bay Golf Club, Lower Herne Village and Hillborough.

This consultation is being carried out to provide local residents, road users and stakeholders with the opportunity to provide feedback on the proposed scheme before plans are finalised.
